If you would like to adopt an olive tree, you are giving a real organic olive tree \ud83e\uded2\ud83c\udf33 on our Sassolive farm in Alpicella special attention\u2014and bringing a piece of Italian lifestyle into your home at the same time. \ud83c\udf1e On an idyllic hill above the Riviera dei Fiori, we cultivate old Taggiasca olive trees by hand using traditional methods. With every adoption, you also support the non-profit organization Rete Tesori della Riviera, which is committed to preserving the cultural landscape and sustainable agriculture. \ud83d\udc9a<\/p>

How adopting your olive tree works \ud83c\udf31<\/strong><\/p>

1. Start your adoption:<\/strong>
Choose the right option to adopt your olive tree\u2014small, standard, or large\u2014and symbolically take on sponsorship of your tree. Your tree receives a personalized nameplate made of olive wood, handcrafted and weather-resistant. Micol or Elena will create photos \ud83d\udcf7 as well as a personal video \ud83d\udcf9 for you. <\/p>

2. Personal updates:<\/strong>
Throughout the year, we will accompany you with pictures and a video of your tree. You will experience up close how your olive tree buds, blossoms, and finally bears olives\u2014Mediterranean lifestyle included. \ud83d\udcf8<\/p>

3. Your own organic olive oil:<\/strong>
From mid-October, we begin harvesting the olives from your tree \ud83c\udf33. This process can take up to two months. The freshly pressed olive oil then rests for about 4 weeks before it is bottled. You will usually receive your olive oil in January or February. \u2600\ufe0f <\/p>

4. Visit on site:<\/strong>
By arrangement, you can visit your olive tree at any time. Many combine adopting an olive tree with a holiday in Liguria and experience on site how care and harvesting are traditionally done by hand. \u2600\ufe0f <\/p>

Then you will receive the olive oil from your tree \ud83e\uded2<\/strong><\/p>

After the harvest, we take the olives to Frantoio Calvi in Imperia\u2014an organic-certified oil mill. There, they are gently cold-extracted (\u2264 27 \u00b0C). This creates a high-quality, pure organic olive oil that is directly connected to your tree. In winter, we send your fresh oil conveniently to your home\u2014mild, fruity, and typically Taggiasca. \ud83d\udc9b<\/p>

The quantity depends on your selection when adopting an olive tree:
Small = 1 bottle, Standard = 3 bottles, Large = 6 bottles.<\/p>
