Olive Oil Subscription

Olive Oil Subscription: Multi-year Olive Tree Adoption in Italy 🌿

With a multi-year olive tree adoption, effectively an Olive Oil Subscription, you choose a long-term connection to your own organic olive tree in Liguria. Your tree grows on our Sassolive farm in Alpicella, above the Riviera dei Fiori, where we tend traditional Taggiasca olive trees by hand.

The big difference compared to a one-time sponsorship is simple: you don’t have to rebook every year. Your adoption renews automatically, your tree remains assigned to you, and you receive your organic olive oil from the new harvest every year – an Olive Oil Subscription.

This turns a one-time sponsorship into something lasting – an Olive Oil Subscription. You accompany your tree over several years and can experience how it develops, blossoms, bears olives, and becomes part of your own little story in Liguria every year.

How your multi-year olive tree adoption works 🌱

  1. Choose your tree

You choose the right size for your sponsorship: small, regular, or large.

Your olive tree receives an individual name tag made of olive wood with your chosen name. The tag is attached directly to the tree.

Afterwards, Micol or Elena will take personal photos and a video of your tree so you can see exactly where your olive tree stands and what it looks like.

  1. Automatic renewal

The sponsorship renews automatically from year to year.

You don’t have to worry about a new order or remember to renew the sponsorship in time. Your tree remains assigned to you as long as the multi-year adoption is active.

  1. Your own organic olive oil every year 🫒

The olive harvest begins in autumn. Depending on the weather and ripeness, it usually starts from mid-October and can last several weeks.

After the harvest, the olives are processed at Frantoio Calvi in Imperia. The freshly pressed oil then rests before being bottled and shipped.

Typically, you will receive your olive oil in January or February.

The quantity depends on your chosen size:

Small = 1 bottle
Regular = 3 bottles
Large = 6 bottles

And the special part: you don’t just get this delivery once, but every single year.

  1. Accompany your tree for years 🌳

A multi-year sponsorship is different from a one-time adoption.

You don’t just have a connection to your tree for one year, but accompany it over a longer period. You see how it grows, forms new shoots, blossoms, and bears olives again.

This is exactly what makes the multi-year version particularly beautiful for many.

  1. Visit your olive tree ☀️

Of course, you can also visit your tree in person.

By appointment, we will show you your olive tree on our Sassolive farm and explain how we care for the trees and how the harvest works.

Many of our sponsors combine the visit with a few days’ holiday on the Ligurian coast.

How your olive oil is produced

After the harvest, we take the olives to Frantoio Calvi in Imperia. There they are gently processed and cold-extracted at low temperatures.

This produces a mild, fruity organic olive oil with the typical character of the Taggiasca olive.

Every harvest is a little different. Weather, sun, and rainfall affect the taste and yield every year. That is exactly what makes real olive oil a living natural product.

Why a multi-year olive tree adoption?

The multi-year version is intended for everyone who wants to remain connected to their tree in the long term.

You don’t have to take care of it every year; your sponsorship continues automatically and you receive your olive oil after every harvest.

This way, your olive tree remains your personal tree in Liguria for years to come.

Who we are 🌾

Our Sassolive farm is located in the hills above Imperia. Here, our Taggiasca olive trees grow in a typical Ligurian terraced landscape overlooking the sea.

We manage our land organically and rely on traditional manual labor.

About My Bio Farm

With your olive tree adoption, you become part of this project and simultaneously support the preservation of traditional olive groves in Liguria.

Transparency Note 🌿

Olive trees are natural products and every season is different.

Yield and harvest can fluctuate from year to year and, in exceptional cases, may be significantly lower or fail entirely.

The organic olive oil is shipped in winter after harvesting and processing.

The multi-year sponsorship renews automatically, so your tree remains assigned to you in the long term and you participate in its development and harvest every year.
