Adopt an organic olive tree in Italy

Adopt olive tree. Adopt your own organic Taggiasca olive tree by the sea in Liguria. Your olive tree will receive an olive wood plaque with your name, and you will receive a certificate confirming the adoption. We will also take pictures and a video of your olive tree for you. You can visit your tree anytime.

After the next harvest in October 2026, you will receive the first olive oil from your organic olive tree – premium extra virgin organic olive oil. It will be sent to you automatically.

What does “Adopt an Olive Tree” mean at Organic Farming Italy?
If you adopt an olive tree, you actively support organic farming in Liguria and become part of our community. Your own olive tree receives a handmade olive wood name tag – a personal moment that we document for you with pictures and a video.
How Do You Personalize My Olive Tree – Do I Receive Photos and a Video?
Yes. Micol and Elena create photos and a personal video of your tree. You will receive a private Dropbox folder (optionally a WhatsApp group) with the video, pictures, and sponsorship certificate – accessible anytime on your mobile device.
What Makes Taggiasca Olives and your Olive Oil so Special?
You adopt a Taggiasca olive tree, a traditional variety from Taggia. In the terraced slopes of Liguria, everything is done by hand (pruning, care, harvesting). The result: a mildly fruity Taggiasca organic olive oil with a distinctive profile.
How much olive oil do I get when I adopt an olive tree?
The amount of olive oil we automatically send you depends on the size of the tree. A small tree yields 1 bottle, a regular tree 3 bottles, and a large tree 6 bottles.
How quickly will I receive the name tag, photos, and video?
Weather permitting, signs are usually inscribed twice a week. On average, we need 3-6 days until the certificate, sign, photos, and video are ready.
How long does the olive tree sponsorship last – can I extend my olive tree adoption?
By default, 1 year, so that a harvest falls within the term. Towards the end, we will ask you if you would like to extend – the following year is cheaper.
Is there a Subscription for the Olive Tree Sponsorship?
Yes. With the subscription, you automatically receive olive oil from your tree every year. You can pause or cancel it online at any time. To the sponsorship subscription >>
Can I Gift the Olive Tree Sponsorship?
Certainly! Add a gift package: elegant box with a certificate in a white real wood frame and a small bottle of organic olive oil from the farm. Shipping to you or directly to the recipient – gladly with a personal greeting message.
How does my sponsorship support farmers in Liguria?
A portion of your fee goes to the initiative “Rete Tesori della Riviera”, which promotes organic farming and supports olive farmers in Liguria – such as during droughts and in maintaining the terraces.
